Slight Risk For Severe Thunderstorms

Hello everyone and welcome back to the blog on this beautiful Friday! Just think, this is the last workday untill the weekend starts! ;). Anyways we have a chance of severe thunderstorms today. Any storm that develops could produce Large Hail, Damaging Winds, and possibly a Isolated Tornado further to the north. Take a look at what the SPC says:

The chances are a bit to the north of here but we can't rule out some strong thunderstorms today and the chance of a few of them becoming severe.

The storms will be in here in several rounds ahead and along of the cold front which the storms will get cranked up a bit later today as the temperatures start to warm up. I do think some storms will get going soon as temperatures are already in the low to mid 70s here at the 12pm hour.
