Hello everyone and welcome back to the blog on this beautiful Friday! Yesterday we had some rounds of strong and severe thunderstorms move through our area and there wasreports of hail and high winds but that was all and you can expect the same thing for today.
Some areas did pick up an inch or so of rain and that produced some flash flooding for some areas as well. Not much is going to change for the forecast today as high temperatures will be well into the mid and upper 70s with more showers and thunderstorms invading our area.
I will be watching these storms as I was doing yesterday for the potential for some to be on the strong to severe side. If any of these do go severe today they will be very much like yesterday's thunderstorms. Large Hail, Damaging Winds, and Torrential Rains causeing flash flooding will be a big concern. Of course you have the lightning to deal with as well.
