Welcome To Spring!

Hello everyone and Happy First day of Spring to you! Today will be one heck of a kickoff to the spring season. Today temperatures could break records today as some areas could hit 85 degrees for the high, that could either break or even shatter old records.

Tomorrow could be some more of the same as temperatures make another run towards the 80 to 85 degree mark for highs, but we're watching a system that looks to move in Thursday and bring some heavy rains, and maybe some severe thunderstorms our way and cool temperatures back down to the 60s for highs during that period. Take a look at this closed low:

That thing is a bruiser, like I said above temperatures will be knocked down into the 60s but that will only be for a day or two and thats stil above average ;).

Spring is the season for ups and downs in the weather and in early spring anything could happen. Severe thunderstorms one day and accumulating snows the next day. I've seen that happen many times in my young forecasting life ;). No matter what the weather brings your way I'll be here on top of it and keeping you informed.
