Severe Weather Outbreak

Good Thrusday evening everyone and welcome back to the blog on this great evening and the calm before the storm. I wanted to stop by with another quick update just to tell you everything is on track and is looking like a significant severe weather outbreak as nothing has changed in my forecast.

I'm still calling for the chance for long lived, large, violent tornadoes to occur especally just to the west of us in central Kentucky. The weather channel has put out their Tor/Con Index Values and they are saying a 7 and 8 out of 10 for here and that is a high risk for tornadoes. If you don't know what the Tor/Con Index is I just explained it pretty much, it's a scale of 1-10 on the possibility of tornadoes in any given location.

The moderate risk for severe weather is still currently in place for much of central and eastern Kentucky. I do believe a upgrade to a high risk is very possible and likely to happen. I still cannot stress enough how serious this is. Please stay up to date on the weather situation at all times tomorrow and take proper action if watches of warnings are issued for your area.

I'll be on call all day tomorrow updating you on facebook and twitter as the storms start to roll in. Have a great night and an even better start to your Friday and take care everyone! :)
