Strong Storms On The Way!

Hello everyone and welcome back to the blog on this very nice Tuesday out there. Today started out cold in many areas. Temperatures started in the mid 30s for many locations out there and there was even a frost advisory for central, northern, and eastern parts of the state.

Temperatures today will rebound nicely with high temperatures in the 60s to even some low 70s out there. This is just ahead of our next thunderstorm maker which will move in here tomorrow. I've been looking at the instability levels inthe atmosphere and they look to be favorable for strong to severe thunderstorms for tomorrow. Take a look for yourself:

That could fire up a line of strong to severe thunderstorms out in western Kentucky and move eastward towards our area. This is something to keep an eye on as we get closer. The threat for severe weather may exist for tomorrow.
