Severe Weather Update

Hello everyone and thanks for stopping by the blog! Here's another quick update on the severe weather situation. Night, winds will be coming out of the south and that will help keep temperatures into the 50s. Actually it will make our temperatures rise overnight into the mid and upper 50s and maybe even a 60 out there.

What these winds will do is they pick up moisture from the Gulf of Mexico and like I've been talking about over the last few days is the moisture from the Gulf of Mexico is always prime and juicy for severe thunderstorms.

As you read this the line of severe thunderstorms is moving through the Paducah area and are marching eastward. No tornado warnings have been issued there yet and I hope none have to be issued. There have been a few severe thunderstorm warnings that were/are issued but nothing any worse.

The main chances for severe weather is to the west and southwest of here, but that doesn't mean we're in the all clear.

I'll have updates via Twitter and via Facebook as needed, I can't protect you but I sure can let you know when and where severe weather may strike to help you take cover! :)
Have a great night and take care!
