Good Wednesday afternoon everyone I hope you all are having a good day so far at school, work or where ever you may be at. Today the weather headlines will be dominated by the rain and the upcoming artic blast to come tomorrow.
Currently rain is falling in may locations and will be falling for much of the day today. temperatures are in the mid and upper 40s with a few 50s out there as well. here's a look at the current temperatures at this hour...

Here is the rainfall totals so far up to the noon hour...
Tomorrow is going to be a wild day of weather as the cold front with the artic air moves in here bringing very cold temperatures and widespread light snow and snow squalls. Alot of energy is with this system and that looks to be the reason for the snow to linger into Friday and even Saturday morning. Most of the moisture will fall behind the cold front as in the form as snow.
I am expecting accumulations for most of the state, and I also think 1 to 3 inches is a good bet with some areas having the chance to pick up more than 3 inches. Temperatures will be in the low and mis 20s for highs on Friday with low temps starting in the teens. The wind chills could even be below 0 at times with the very cold northwest winds blowing the snow around.
I will have another update later today, have a great Wednesday and take care!
