Busy Week Of Weather To Come

Good Monday afternoon everyone and I hope you all are having a great one out there. Like I said yesterday temperatures would come up today, highs will be in the upper 40s to low 50s out there as clouds will be on the increase as well. There's a shot at some rain showers later on this afternoon but that should be out of the way from everyone's outdoor plans.

here's a look at current temperatures at this hour:

Just what the Doctor ordered right? ;) I like these nice and warm days in January like these, it gives a break from cold weather and snow. Anyways did I mention a rollercoaster yesterday? Because thats exactly what we're going to be on this week.

Let's start with Tomorrow, a Low pressure system looks to move into the Great Lakes area and this will drag another cold front with it and the front will pull through here. Just like the previous times, ahead of the front temperatures will be up in the 50s and as the the front moves through temperatures will make one heck of a dive into the 20s for many locations. Also along of the front there will be rain, and plenty of it as well, after the front moves through snow showers will be a good bet on late Tuesday night into Wednesday.

Thats the GFS model on Tuesday, you can see by clicking it that the Low pressure system is right at the Great Lakes and will bring the moisture our way in the form as rain.

Another system on Thursday into Friday needs to have an eye kept on it, as it will have a big temperature difference with it as it moves into the Ohio Valley from the Northwest and it may just end up being our next snow maker around here but we are still way too far out to know for sure.

More updates later as needed! Have a great Monday and take care everyone!
