Heavy Rains Tonight

Hello everyone and good Thursday afternoon to you all out there. Temperatures are starting out in the upper 50s to low 60s with rain in the area. Heavier rains will move in later this evening into tonight with an increased risk of flooding through the night. And for that a FLOOD WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR MOST OF CENTRAL AND EASTERN KENTUCKY.

This thing for quite a bit of areas cound see as much as 1-3" of rain. The NAM model is showing a swath of haevy rains for central and western Kentucky with as much as 3 inches falling over there.

The rain will slowly get a move on out of here Friday with cold air once again moving back into place, it will not be all too cold like we've seen in the past but it has the chance for a quick mix to fall.

Colder air makes it's way in this weekend with highs on Sunday struggling to get out of the upper 20s to low 30s.
