Snow On The Move For Tonight

Hello everyone and thanks for stopping by the blog on your Tuesday evening. The headlines in dominated by this snow we'll be getting tonight into early Wednesday morning and another cold front bringing more snow with it for the weekend???

This update is just for what to expect with tonights expected snowfall. First off not much accumulation is expected from this snowfall, but what does accumulate will be on the slushy side and in the early morning hours they're may be a bit of trouble on roadways especally the backroads that doesn't get much sunlight. For the most part roadways will be okay because the blacktop is still warm and it looks to stay that way overnight.

Most accumulations will happen on grassy areas where any given location could get in on a heavier snow shower that could bring a quick burst of snow and a quick accumulation on the grass. 1 inch of snow can be expected along the I-64 area or from Lexington on northward, but some models are giving me some hope of some accumulations down here in southeastern Kentucky.

More updates later as needed and quick updates via facebook. If you don't have me on there you should, thats where most of my quick updates goes. Have a great evening and take care! :)
